Earthwool FloorShield Underfloor Batts
Knauf Earthwool FloorShield underfloor batts are made for homes with suspended timber floors, where cold air underneath can make rooms draughty in winter. The silicone-coated glasswool resists moisture, and a glass veil facing acts as a wind-wash barrier, stopping air movement from reducing performance. Friction-fitted between the joists and held with strapping, they’re easy to install, even in tight crawl spaces.
